The Communication Solutions Group has recently been recognized for outstanding work in the industry by receiving two prestigious awards.
The Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), Philadelphia, honored President Leza Raffel at the 2023 Pepperpot Awards. She won the Anthony Fulginiti Award for Commitment to Education, and was nominated by PR & Marketing Manager Kellie Dietrich.
Empowering the next generation of PR leaders, Raffel achieved the milestone of mentoring 100 college interns in 2019 and that number continues to grow. Whether it’s interns, college students from her alma mater or employees, Raffel is always looking for opportunities to teach others.
“Transitioning to PR from a journalism background, Leza has been my mentor the past four and a half years,” said Dietrich. “She trained me on the ins-and-outs of PR and now as a manager myself, I hope to be the kind of mentor for employees that she has been for me.”
In addition, The Communication Solutions Group has been identified as one of the region’s fastest-growing companies. Each year the Philadelphia Business Journal publishes the Soaring 76 list recognizing the rapidly thriving companies throughout the region.
