Communication Solutions Group Adds Two New Employees to the Team

The Communication Solutions Group welcomes Linda Plessett to the team as Office Manager and Emily White as Public Relations Associate. Linda is replacing the current Manager of Special Projects, Nicole Modrell, who is retiring at the end of September and has been training Linda since late August.

“As we approach our 30th year in businesses, it is exciting to welcome in talented new additions to our team with innovative ideas and diverse experiences,” said President Leza Raffel. “It’s a nice way to mark a company milestone while looking to the future.”

Meet Linda Plessett

Linda Plessett is an experienced professional who has worked in many office settings. Most recently, she served as Office Administrator of Spring International, and Office and Communications Manager of Heaven and Earth. She has also worked as a freelance graphic designer for Philadelphia ad agencies, non-profits, a real estate developer and many other organizations.

She demonstrates strong organizational, interpersonal and computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office, Quickbooks, Adobe Creative Suite, social media, accounts payable/receivable and much more. Adept in numerous programs, Linda effectively multi-tasks while remaining detail-oriented in her work.

“I am looking forward to bringing together my past work experience with what I’m learning here to promote the goals and objectives of the Communication Solutions Group,” said Linda.

A graduate from Temple University, Linda has a B.S. in Journalism/Advertising. Linda and her husband raised their two children in their long-time home in Lafayette Hill. In her free time, she enjoys the great outdoors while hiking, biking and gardening. Spending time with family and her adorable rescue dog Bodhi are also top of the list.

Meet Emily White

Emily White brings a wide variety of experiences and skills to the firm. Her communication career has included positions in both online and broadcast journalism within myriad roles, including writer, copy editor, reporter and producer.

Her previous media job was reporting for KVNO News in Omaha, Nebraska, where she covered subjects such as local politics and issues, public health and education.

Emily grew up in the Midwest, graduating from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a bachelor’s degree in communication.

“Moving to this area gave me a great fresh start,” she said. “I’m looking forward to working with the team at Communication Solutions Group and creating new and engaging content for clients.”

Emily lives in Wilmington, Delaware, with her partner, Derek, and her two cats, Syd and Roger. Outside of work, she loves photography, Hindi-language films, trying new foods and restaurants, and spending time with her loved ones.
