The Communication Solutions Group, a public relations and marketing firm on Old York Road in Jenkintown, announced the promotion of two full-time employees: Jessica Lis (above right) and Cassie Morrison (above left).
Lis, the firm’s public relations and social media specialist of two years, has been promoted to digital marketing manager. Her new role involves monitoring and managing the social media campaigns of their clients and mentoring their interns.
The Temple University graduate is also responsible for keeping up with digital content resources via workshops and conferences and the ever-changing trends of technology.
In her previous role, Lis’ favorite project involved shooting a video about Women’s History Month for one of Communication Solutions’ clients, Deptford Fire Department.
In her new position, Lis hopes to continue honing her editing and on-site video shoot skills.
“My new role allows me to leverage my expertise in supporting both employees and clients, while embracing new challenges in an ever-changing digital landscape,” said Lis. “I am appreciative of all the experiences I’ve had to grow with Communication Solutions and am excited to see what the future holds.”
Morrison was Communication Solutions’ public relations associate for one year before being promoted to specialist. A large portion of her previous role consisted of copywriting, branding development, and press release writing.
The University of Mississippi graduate’s favorite project was the Ringgold School District’s annual report.
“Communication Solutions has provided me with the opportunity to expand my skill set and tell my clients stories through various mediums,” said Morrison. “I am extremely grateful for the opportunity and eager to see what is next for me in this new role.”
Company president Leza Raffel was happy to reward Lis and Morrison for their hard work and provide them with the opportunity for growth.
“Jessica and Cassie bring really unique skillsets to their respective positions, and I’m delighted to see them advance in their careers in their new positions here at Communication Solutions,” said Raffel.
